AWS utilizes rolling admissions so that once parents find Waldorf education, they don't have to wait until the next year to start the admissions process!   During the school year (roughly Sept-May), parents may tour the school (Tuesdays at 9am) and then complete an application for their child.  For prospective Grades students, transcripts from former schools will be requested.  The next step is for the child to observe in the classroom.  For the preschool, this is usually one morning (8:30-12:30) without the parent present.  For Grades 1-8, it can be up to a week of class from 8:15am-3pm.

During the summer, tours are usually conducted on Tuesdays at 9am though only the Preschool Summer Program is in session and available for viewing.  Call 205.592.0541 to reserve your spot on a tour!
