Steps to Enrollment
- Tour our school!
This is an informational session designed to introduce you to Waldorf Education as it is carried out at AWS. You will hear about the trajectory of the curriculum, a short history of Waldorf Education, and an opportunity to visit the classes while they are in session.
Tours are offered every Tuesday at 9am. Please call the office to reserve your spot, or, to schedule a different time in the event that you are unable to attend a regularly-scheduled tour.
- Application
Fill out an Application for Admission and submit it, along with the $100 non-refundable, one-time fee, to Alabama Waldorf School.
- Classroom Observation
This is a time for you and your child’s teacher to observe your child in the classroom setting and ensure that AWS is a good fit for everyone.
- Parent Interview
The teacher and parent will meet to discuss classroom expectations, school policies, and any questions or concerns that either parent or teacher has.
- Enrollment Contract
Once your child has been accepted you will be asked to complete and sign an Enrollment Contract, including a non-refundable Registration fee. In the case of a full classroom, your name will be put on a waiting list and we will notify you as soon as space in the program is available.
